 Sleep Mode
Recycling at Colby
• Computer monitors can consume two or three times as much electricity as the hard drive- so you can save a lot of energy just by setting the monitor to sleep. That way, you don't have to wait for your hard drive to spin back up.

•Configuring Sleep mode: settings vary slightly by brand and operating system.Call the Support Center (3888-faculty/staff;3666-students) for help with your particular system.
