Tuesday & Thursday closed from 6:30am-8:00am

Policy for Use of the Computer Labs
(Lovejoy Lab, Miller Library Cluster, Olin 323)

* Access to the computer labs is restricted to current Colby students, faculty and staff. All others must obtain permission from Information Technology Services. Specifically, they must sign in with the ITS receptionist in Lovejoy 105. If they wish to use the labs on the weekend or after hours, they should have obtained permission in advance. Anyone who does not have permission will be asked to leave. Also, these persons may be asked to leave if the lab is crowded and there are others waiting to use the computer.

* Any minors in the lab must have obtained permission from ITS (see above). Minors may not use any network software in the labs unless they are supervised by an adult. ITS staff and student workers will not provide this supervision. If the minor does not have permission or is using network software, they will be asked to leave.

* No pets, food, or drinks are allowed in the labs.

Fall Semester (9/8 -12/21) - Lovejoy Lab will be open normal hours during Thanksgiving break and open 24 hours starting 12/1. Lovejoy Lab closes at 5:00pm on the 21st of December. The LRC will be closed during Thanksgiving Break.

Between Semesters and during Spring Break Lovejoy Lab hours will be 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday. (Closed Holidays & Weekends). Library Lab hours will be the same as the building hours. Olin Lab hours will be the same as the Science Library hours. The LRC will be closed between semesters.

Jan Plan (1/3-1/27) - Same as Fall Semester

Spring Semester (2/2-5/21) - Same hours as above except for Spring recess. The LRC will be closed during Spring Break. Lovejoy Lab will closed at noon on 3/19, but will be open from 8:00am to 5:00pm 3/21 - 3/25. Lovejoy Lab will be closed on 3/26, and will reopen 3/27 at 10:00am. Library lab hours will be the same as the building hours during spring recess. Lovejoy Lab will be open 24 hours starting 5/1 and will close at 5:00pm on the 21st of May. Summer hours will begin 5/23.
