Full support= any operational and troubleshooting questions, in depth questions to respond to unusual problems may require extra research time.

Limited support= crashing/freezing problems, basic operational questions.

Departmental Support= specialized software that has been purchased or installed by request with the provision that it will be supported within the department requesting it, by individuals who are knowledgeable.( ITS can sometimes identify those individuals, but not in every case.)

Acrobat Distiller:
There's a conflict between Photoshop and Acrobat Distiller. If you have Photoshop installed on your computer(either copied from the Keyserver or locally installed from a CD) you must do the following to use Acrobat:

1.go to Settings | Job Options | Color.
2. set CMYK to "none."

Adobe Pagemaker 6.5 and Adobe Photoshop 5,
will not be copied but launched directly from the
Software Library Server. Work with the applications
like any other installed program.

You can also customize your Start menu to include
these programs (Start:Setttings:Taskbar & Start Menu). These applications do require connection to the
Colby network so if you leave the Colby community
you will want to uninstall the KeyAccess (Start:Program:Keyserver:Uninstall).

Dreamweaver: after copying it to your computer,
you must open the READ ME text file and COPY the registration number. When you launch the
Dreamweaver application, paste the number in
where required.
