Sabbatical Options for Faculty on LeaveWhile on sabbatical, your office will likely be occupied by someone else who will have their own Mayflower extension number. So, what do you want to do with your personal Mayflower phone extension? Select from one of these options:
VOICE MAIL

Have your extension ring directly to your personal voice mailbox.
You should record an away greeting and then periodically
check your messages.
T SUSPEND
--
Have your extension temporarily suspended but held for your return.
It's simple...you're gone. Calls divert to switchboard after
brief announcement.
ANNOUNCE
--
Have callers hear an annoucement but
not be able to leave messages.
Allows callers to press "0" to reach department secretary.
Requires a script. See
samples.
TEMP MOVE
--
Move extension to a different temporary campus location.
Such as Millett. Need details of new location: building/room, phone jack number, etc.
I'M BACK ! ! !

Sabbatical over, extension needs to be returned
to original office.
