To
use the Sophos Anti-Virus Software, go to Start/Programs/Sophos SWEEP/SWEEP
for Windows NT. The screen that appears is below. The light icon is
"on" (green with lines around it) in front of the Local
hard drives path indicating that the Local hard drives have
been selected for scanning.

Before
scanning, click on the "tools" button (next to the STOP
sign). A screen will appear that shows "Immediate Mode Configuration."
You can leave these settings as is. If you have added Macintosh
files to your machine you may want to enable the Macintosh virus
option.
Next,
click on the action tab. The window shown below will appear. Leave
the "Disinfect boot sectors" and "Request confirmation"
boxes checked. Check the box for "Disinfect documents."
Click OK.

To
proceed with a scan of the hard drives click the GO icon. The scan
may be interrupted at any time by clicking on the STOP icon. After
the scan is complete a report will show in the window at the bottom.
To
scan a floppy disk click on the light icon next to the A:\ drive.
(The green light will "turn on.") If a scan of the hard
drives is not necessary, click the light icon next to Local hard
drives to deactivate the hard drive scan. (The green light will
"turn off."). Your screen will appear as below. Start
the scan by clicking on the GO button.

in particular! Simply notify the Support Center at x3888 or send
