大学レベルで日本語を学習する学生が減少している現状をみると、高校の先生方 との連絡や交流が重要課題だと思われます。そのために、その場を提供すべく土 曜日は、講師にオレゴン州ですでにいろいろ研究活躍されている渡辺素和子先生 をお招きして、ワークショップという形にしました。小中高大学の先生方を初 め、できるだけ多くの関係者の方に参加していただいて、実りのある討論にした いと思います。 9時半からの渡辺先生の発表では、オレゴンでのスタンダードの導入がアーティ キュレーションにどのような波紋を投げかけているかについて、そして、アーテ ィキュレーションを改善していくうえで、どうしても一教師の力ではどうにもな らない壁も紹介していただく予定です。そうした話を参考に、グループワークで は、北東部で繰り返さなくてもよいことや、しなくてはいけないことの事例や研 究課題、または、各自、各学校でどんなことを把握しておかなればならないか、 などを討論していただきます。お昼のあとの討論会は、Kー16の先生たちがな すべきこと、大学側がなすべきこと、または、できること、そして、関係機関が できること、または、それらにしてほしいことを話し合っていただきます。ただ 話しっぱなしではなく、各グループに筆記をしていただいて、あとでどこかの会 報誌に報告として載せてもらうつもりでまとめたいと思います。 みなさんの積極的な参加を期待しております。
