When is registration?

The best way to register is online! In-person registration is on June 8, 2018 from 3-8 p.m. the student center at Thomas College. You will also be able to register on Sunday at 1 City Center in Downtown Waterville. YOU CANNOT REGISTER IN PERSON ON SHABBAT (Saturday.)

When is check-out?

Everyone must check out by the end of breakfast on Sunday morning.

What will we do for three days?

There will be many ways to access the best of Jewish civilization and central Maine during our two days together. There will be classes, lectures, tours, hikes, bike rides, prayer services, music, dance, panels, and discussions provided during the conference. Participants will also have access to the many facilities at Colby College, the Quarry Road Recreation Center, and the Alfond Youth Center. Downtown Waterville is also within walking and biking distance.

How much does it cost?

We are offering an early bird discount! Register January 1 through March 31 and tuition is $36 per person per day! After that, the price will be $50 per person per day, and will increase to $70 for registrations received after May 31. This fee includes all meals except for lunch on Sunday, which is independent in downtown Waterville.

Are scholarships available?

Will the food be kosher?

Yes. All food will be kosher, and under the supervision of Rabbi Isaacs.

Are linens provided in the dorms?

Yes, everything other than washcloths are provided by the college.

What accommodations are available for families?

There are suites in the dorms that can accommodate large families.

Do I need to stay at Thomas? Can I come to part of the conference?

No one needs to stay at Thomas. Everyone is free to arrange their own accommodations. It is fine to come for part of the conference. Prices will be adjusted accordingly.

Please volunteer on the registration page, and someone will contact you.  We will need help with registration, finding people to teach sessions, preparing and serving meals, and helping with children. We hope to keep costs low with the help of our participants. Please let us know if you can help!
