February 20: Noontime reading and evening book presentation by David Solmitz on his book Piecing Scattered Souls: Maine, Germany, Mexico, China and Beyond (2011). In the evening, Professor Raffael Scheck will talk about the account of Walter M. Solmitz, David’s father, about his captivity in concentration camp Dachau after Crystal Night. This account, in English translation, is included in David’s book.
