|  The LEAP Newsletter, "The Community Voice", was created in
2003 under the Dean of Multicultural Affairs Office. The vision of its
founder, Dean Cecelia Stanton, was that it would create a space through
which Colby students could communicate across differences. In fact,
"Communicating Across Differences" was our title last year. Although we
no longer use this name, this ideal remains central to the mission of
this puplication.
Our goal is to get people together to talk
about matters of intellectual, political, and cultural intrigue, and to
motivate them to write and share their ideas in a concrete and
publicized form. Please enjoy our newsletter and note that any feedback
or contribution to our future efforts are always welcome.
