Export from Digital8 to VHS
- Turn on Digital8 Player and insert Digital8 tape.
- As described above, make sure the RCA cable is connected to both the Digital8 VCR and the regular VCR.
- Insert a blank VHS tape into VCR.
- TV should be on channel 3 and VCR input should be set to Line1.
- Test to see that everything is connected correctly by pressing play on the Digital8 player - the film should be playing on the TV screen.
- To start recording rewind your movie on the Digital8 player. Press Play and Record on the regular VCR first, then press play on the Digital8 VCR.
- If there is any on screen text (like running time, date, etc) there is a Display button and a Data Code button above pause on the Digital8 VCR which can be used to take the text out. Display is for top right hand of the screen and Data Code is for bottom left hand of the screen.
- Press stop when you are finished recording.
