Burn a CD on a Mac (OSX)
1. Insert blank CD-R
To open the disc drive, press the button at the top right hand corner of the keyboard, above the number pad. It is the button with a triangle and a line underneath it. Place the CD in the drive and press the triangle button again.

2. Name that disk!- A screen will pop up asking you to name your disc. Whatever name the CD is given at the time that it is burned will be the name that the CD is stuck with... FOREVER! so don't call it stuff ot My Great CD After naming your CD, click OK.

3. Drag 'n Drop- Drag the file(s) onto the CD icon on the desktop. If you hold there for a second, a folder will open. This is your CD folder. Drop your files in this folder. You can drop as soon as you see the friendly green plus.

4. Burning the CD- Now that the files you want to burn are copied the CD, click on the CD icon and drag it. The moment you do so, the Trash icon on the Dock should turn into a yellow and black symbol (like a radiation symbol). Drag the CD icon onto that symbol and the computer will burn your files onto the disc.

5. Ejecting the disc- Once the CD is done burning, click on the CD icon and drag it toward the trashcan. As soon as you move the CD icon, the trashcan should turn into the eject button (the triangle with a line underneath). Drag the CD icon to the eject button and your CD should pop out.
