VLL Quicktime sound
If the Quicktime sound isn't working for the VLL or an internet browser and everything else (headphones plugged in, audio system preferences, etc) is set correctly there's one more thing to check. First, quit Quicktime.
Go to applications-->utilities-->Audio MIDI Setup
Make sure the audio output is set to 44100.0 Hz
Quit Audio MIDI Setup and reopen Quicktime.This should solve the problem.
