David C. Brenneman ’98, Aug. 31, 2013, in Chappaqua, N.Y., at 37. After graduating from Colby summa cum laude, he earned his master’s from Yale and J.D. from Harvard. He worked at Morgan Stanley for six years, most recently as an executive director in equity risk management. He helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Sarcoma Foundation of America, and in April 2013 the organization honored him with its Courage Award. He battled a rare and aggressive form of the disease for 16 months. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Mina, and three children.
