Fred E. Allen ’50, July 29, 2012, in Calais, Maine, at 86. He served in World War II, and was a teacher, principal, and schools superintendent in Maine. He earned his master’s degree from the University of Maine at Orono. He enjoyed golf, hunting, and fishing. He was predeceased by a son, his father, Alden Allen ’16, and his aunt Lucy M. Allen ’17. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Constance, a son, two daughters, 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
