Glenn T. Connell ’79, July 18, 2013, in Sabattus, Maine, at 63. He built radios and telescopes in his teens and won a National Science Foundation grant at 16 to study space science. He earned a master’s at Brandeis and worked as a professor, a research scientist, a physicist, and an engineer, most recently in nuclear engineering at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. He enjoyed playing the guitar, gardening, reading, and woodworking, and he was a master in the Masons. He is survived by his parents, a son, a daughter, and a granddaughter.
