, Oct. 21, 2011, in Scarborough, Maine, at 95. A mother and homemaker, she was also a nursery school teacher who became the first director of the Manchester, Conn., Project Head Start. She was an avid card player and a world traveler. Predeceased by her husband of 69 years, J. Robert Haskell ’37, she is survived by her sons, John, David ’65, Robertson ’72, and Richard, three grandsons, and three great-grandsons.
