School Visits

The Colby College Museum of Art encourages group visits. Docent-led educational tours of the collection and special exhibitions are available Tuesday through Friday by appointment between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Along with a themed or general tour, teachers can choose to add a studio workshop, sketching time, a campus tour, an engineering activity, lunch at the dining hall, or special programs like a music concert or dance recital.

Due to a generous grant from the Betterment Fund and the Linde Family Foundation, funding is available to reimburse the complete cost of school bus transportation to and from the Museum. For information on bus reimbursement, contact Linde Family Foundation Coordinator of School and Family Programs Margaret Aiken at 207-859-5623.
