Last year the Chorale traveled to New York City during spring break to perform the Fauré Requiem at the Church of St. Francis Xavier, as well as perform at other concerts and venues. Chorale members were also given time to explore the city and enjoy an outreach performance with children in the Bronx at the Casita Maria Center for the Arts. Other events included: participating in a workshop on Staten Island with Dr. Joe Miller from Westminster Choir College, singing for a liturgy service at St. Bart’s Episcopal Church, and seeing the Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. This year the chorale is excited to plan more outreach work with organizations and schools in Waterville area. An international tour is currently being discussed by the Chorale Executive Board for spring 2015.  For more information about our trips and tours, see here.
