The Colby College Museum of Art will be closed from Saturday, December 23, through Monday, December 25, and from Saturday, December 30, through Monday, January 1. The museum will be open regular hours from December 26-29.

Currently on exhibit at the museum is “The Quest for Entertainment and Enlightenment in Tokugawa Japan’s Urban Centers,” an exhibit of Japanese religious and secular art. On January 14 “The Eye: Mirror of the Soul,” featuring the paintings of Father Paul Plante, will open with a reception at the museum.

Colby museum hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free, and the museum is accessible to persons with disabilities. For information call (207) 872-3228 or visit www.colby.edu/museum.
