Colby will offer tickets for its 39th annual Service of Carols and Lights on Monday, Nov. 17, at 5 p.m. in the Pulver Pavilion, Cotter Union, while supplies last. The services, which combine music and worship, will be held Friday, Dec. 5, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 6, at 4 and 7:30 p.m., in the Lorimer Chapel on the Waterville campus.

The Service of Carols and Lights begins with musical preludes at 3:30 and 7 p.m. The service includes Advent and Christmas readings and carols sung by the congregation. Student vocalists, instrumentalists, and choral and a cappella groups contribute both traditional and contemporary music of the season. The singing of carols by candlelight follows the traditional lighting of candles throughout the congregation. The service concludes with “Silent Night.”

Tickets are limited and must be picked up. For further ticket information, call 859-4610.
