Crawford Family Professor of Religion Nikky-Guninder Kaur Singh delivered a lecture about Sikh mysticism at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, in April 2014. Her lecture, titled “Expressing the Inexpressible: The Heartbeat of Sikh Mysticism,” was featured as part of the Comparison Project, an annual series of lectures, dialogues, and comparisons on a common religious theme.

Singh also delivered lectures in October 2013. She spoke on early Sikh art for the Centre for the Study of Comparative Religions and Civilizations at Jamia Milla in New Delhi and gave the keynote address for the inauguration of the Dhahan International Punjabi Literature Prize at the University of British Columbia.
