Director of the Farnham Writers’ Center Paula Harrington will discuss how France and the French helped Twain form a new kind of American identity when she speaks at “The Trouble Begins at Eight” lecture series at Quarry Farm at Elmira College. Twain, his wife, and their children spent 20 summers at the Quarry Farm property.
