Two members of Colby’s senior administrative staff have received new titles to better reflect the critical nature of their work.
Lori Kletzer, formerly vice president for academic affairs and dean of faculty, has become provost and dean of faculty. The change ensures that the College’s chief academic officer plays a lead role in resource allocation and priority setting. “It is essential that the primacy of our academic mission guides decision making and that the needs of our academic programs are represented in all resource and planning deliberations,” Colby President David A. Greene wrote in a statement to the community.
Doug Terp’s title of vice president for administration and treasurer has become vice president for administration and chief financial officer. The change is intended to better reflect his broad and significant set of responsibilities in managing Colby’s finances.
