1980-01-01 00.01.22Fiona Masland ’12, a global studies and East Asian studies double major, received a prestigious 2014-15 Blakemore Freeman Fellowship for Advanced Language Study in Taiwan. Masland already spent two years on successive Fulbright grants teaching English in Taiwan.

The highly competitive Blakemore Freeman grants are awarded to less than 10 percent of applicants and require applicants to be pursuing a professional, business, technical, or academic career that involves the regular use of a modern East or Southeast Asian language.
