Colby College, Waterville Main Street, and the city hosted the 12th annual Harvest Fest at Head of Falls in Waterville Sunday, Oct. 5. The seasonal event featured family-friendly activities including pumpkin carving, hayrides, scarecrow making, and pumpkin bowling. Colby students engaged in the festivities, with demonstrations by the woodsmen’s team and performances by a cappella singing groups. Sam Helm ’12, assistant director of campus life at Colby, helped organize the event. The collaborative event proved highly successful, with hundreds attending.
