A research paper coauthored by Assistant Professor of Psychology Erin Sheets will be published in December 2014 in Behaviour Research and Therapy. Titled “Comparing Chronic Interpersonal and Noninterpersonal Stress Domains as Predictors of Depression Recurrence in Emerging Adults,” the article provides evidence that interpersonal stress—intimate relationship stress, close friendship stress, family relationship stress, personal health, and family members’ health—has a significant impact on depression in young adults.
