Assistant Professor of Art Marta Ameri is co-chair of the Academic Conference at the International Symposium on Electronic Art in Dubai Nov. 2-6, 2014. ISEA is one of the world’s most important academic media-arts events for the interdisciplinary discussion and showcase of creative productions that apply new technologies in interactive and digital media. Accompanying exhibitions will showcase more than 100 works of art that thrive on technology and innovation.

As co-chair, Ameri is responsible for organizing the Academic Conference, which, together with the exhibitions, forms the heart of the symposium. The conference brings together hundreds of artists and scholars working in the field of electronic and global art. This year’s conference program offers papers, panels, and presentations in six separate streams (technology, location/space, performance, sensory body, education media, and public space).
