Faculty Fellow in Art Eric Gottesman is collaborating with kids at the Alfond Youth Center in Waterville to explore through photography “their idea of journeys in whatever form that takes.” Gottesman said he is interested in the layers of history in central Maine and enjoys the opportunity to work with young people.

“I hope they learn a little about photography and use their cameras to explore their lives and what is going on in the world for them,” he said.

The photography initiative was developed through a partnership among Colby’s Center for the Arts and Humanities, the Goldfarb Center at Colby, and the Alfond Youth Center.
