Faculty Fellow in Economics Sandra Hughes Goff ’98, a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Maine, won the university’s Edith Patch Award in March. An honor given by the Friends of Dr. Edith Marion Patch, the award is presented each year to graduate and undergraduate women to acknowledge distinguished work they have accomplished at the University of Maine and to recognize their promise for future contribution to the fields of science, agriculture, engineering, or environmental education. The committee was impressed by the “rich integration of research, teaching, and service in Sandra’s exploration of the social aspects of environmental and economic behavior.”
