Taylor Witkin ’14, who graduated last year with honors and distinction in environmental studies, had his senior honors thesis accepted for publication in the journal Fisheries Research. The article, “Opportunities and barriers for fisheries diversification: Consumer choice in New England,” is available online and will be published as part of the August 2015 volume. Coauthors on the article are Assistant Professor of Economics Sahan Dissanayake and Ainslie Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies Loren McClenachan. Witkin is working at Oceana, an international nonprofit based in Washington, D.C., and focused solely on oceans, dedicated to achieving measurable change by conducting specific, science-based campaigns with fixed deadlines and articulated goals.
