Bradley Lloyd ’19, who will enroll at Colby in the fall, received a 2015-16 National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) scholarship. Lloyd will spend late June to early August in Jeonju, South Korea, where he will learn about Korean culture and language through total immersion, including living with a host family for the entirety of his trip and attending rigorous weekday classes with other NSLI-Y students. “I had always been interested in Korea, and I wanted to find some opportunity to study abroad,” Lloyd said. “I think it will be a great life experience and I will learn a lot from it.”
