Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies Denise Bruesewitz was selected to attend the Gordon Research Conference “Catchment Science: Interactions of Hydrology, Biology, and Geochemistry” in New Hampshire in June. Bruesewitz was awarded a $600 grant from the Gordon Research Conferences toward conference fees as part of a program to involve researchers from undergraduate institutions. She will connect with scientists at the interface of aquatic ecology, hydrology, and landscape scale ecology—an interdisciplinary group that aligns with her scholarly research interests, which include aquatic ecology, biogeochemistry ecosystem ecology, limnology, and stream ecology.
