All eyes are on Ocean Spray CEO Randy Papadellis ’79, P’14, ’18, as the cranberry business faces tough obstacles from an overabundance of cranberry concentrate and a federal antitrust lawsuit. Boston Magazine‘s April issue profiles Papadellis, who saved the cranberry business in 2005 and runs the company as an agricultural cooperative owned by more than 700 grower-owners. “As the industry gears up for another harvest this year,” Boston Magazine reports, “Massachusetts farmers who depend on Ocean Spray are waiting to see if Papadellis can pull off another miracle.”
