Revitalization efforts in downtown Waterville, led by investments from Colby, have attracted the Children’s Discovery Museum to relocate from Augusta to the city, Central Maine Newspapers reported Sept. 29. “We think this is our best option to serve both communities,” said Amarinda Keys ’14, executive director for the museum, which has been in Augusta for 30 years. “When you look at Waterville and the services we offer and the educational network we’re building,” Mayor Nick Isgro told the paper, “the Children’s Discovery Museum is a good fit.”
