Online Counseling Programs

A blog created by Associate Professor of Psychology Jennifer Coane was named one of 10 top psychology blogs by Online Counseling Programs (OCP). Coane’s CogBlog is written by research assistants “working in the Memory and Language Lab and students enrolled in courses in cognitive psychology and memory at Colby.” The blog is one of the few on the list with content written by students, and in an interview with OCP, Coane said she uses the blog to teach several things, including providing “students an opportunity to read and understand original sources” and requiring “them to integrate course content into their post and explain core concepts to the reader.”
