Colbyettes 50th Reunion Concert, April 21 The Colbyettes, a Colby College women's singing group, will hold a 50th anniversary reunion concert on Saturday, April 21, in Colby's Lorimer Chapel. The 8 p.m. concert is open to the public and free of charge. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. More than 70 current and former Colbyettes from the classes of 1952 through 2004 will participate in the event. The Colbyettes, founded in 1951, are the college's original all-female a cappella group and formed the foundation for a strong tradition of a cappella singing at Colby.
