Colby Museum of Art Closed Memorial Day The Colby College Museum of Art will be closed on Monday, May 28. The museum will be open regular hours Saturday, May 26, and Sunday, May 27, for commencement weekend. Currently on exhibit at the museum is "Contemporary Maine Furniture," an exhibit of contemporary furniture by 18 Maine artists. The exhibit explores international trends and the diversity of influences in contemporary design—Shaker, Bauhaus and Asian. Colby museum hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free, and the museum is accessible to persons with disabilities.
