G. Love and Special Sauce to Perform at Colby Oct. 12

G. Love and Special Sauce will perform at Colby College in the Wadsworth Gymnasium of the Harold Alfond Athletic Center on Friday, October 12. Aaron Katz, drummer and vocalist for the band Percy Hill, will open the concert at 9 p.m.

The headlining trio of G. Love (lead vocal, guitars, harmonica), Jim "Jimi Jazz" Prescott (acoustic bass) and Jeffrey “Thunderhouse” Clemens (drums, percussion) recently released a new album. "Electric Mile" is a 13-song work of the group's favorite musical influences--hip-hop, roots reggae, folk with a touch of country, and blues with a taste of jazz.

Tickets for the concert are $15 and are available at Bull Moose Music stores. For more information contact the Colby Student Activities Office at 207-872-3338. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door. The concert doors open at 8:30 p.m.
