Colby Museum of Art Closed for Thanksgiving The Colby College Museum of Art will be closed on Thursday, November 22, and Friday, November 23, for the Thanksgiving holiday. The museum will reopen with regular hours on Saturday, November 24. Currently on exhibit is "Maine Women in the Visual Arts," featuring works from 51 Maine artists in a variety of media, including paintings, sculpture, fiber, book art, photographs, ceramics and printmaking. Also on display is the annual Fall Faculty Art exhibit. It features photographs, paintings, sculptures and prints created by Colby’s art department faculty. Both exhibits will remaine on view through December 28. . Colby museum hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
