Mike Daisey's Off-Broadway Hit 21 Dog Years to be Performed September 27
Daisey worked in the customer service and business development sectors of Amazon.com from 1998 through 2000. 21 Dog Years opened in 2001 and chronicles Daisey's adventures at the world's largest bookstore--where he says he learned to "slavishly love idealistic mouth breathers, 60-hour weeks and the cult of personality that is Jeff Bezos." He has been called the "First Internet Dot.Comic" and has been featured in publications including Wired, Newsweek, The New York Times and the London Guardian. In June of this year Simon & Schuster published the book version of 21 Dog Years. Daisey is a native of Fort Kent, lived in Etna during high school and is a member of the Colby Class of 1996. His other one-man shows include Wasting Your Breath and I Miss The Cold War. General admission is $3; students and seniors are $2.
