Conversations Members of Colby College's studio art faculty will show works in a variety of media for the annual Fall Faculty Art Exhibit at the Colby College Museum of Art in Waterville. The exhibit will be on view from November 15 through December 22 and the public is invited to an opening reception on Friday, November 15, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Faculty members Bevin Engman, Garry Mitchell, Dee Peppe, Harriett Matthews, Abbott Meader and Scott Reed will be the exhibiting artists. Photographer Peppe will exhibit platinum/palladium prints on watercolor paper that explore gender. Engman and Mitchell will present recent paintings. Matthews will exhibit two sculptures and some drawings, and Reed will show prints and paintings. Meader is an emeritus studio art professor at Colby. His graphic works reflect a contemplation of landscape and the natural world.

Colby museum hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free, and the museum is accessible to persons with disabilities. For information call 207-872-3228 or visit www.colby.edu/museum
