Colby's Collegium Musicum Presents Music for Advent

On Saturday, November 23, at 7:30 p.m. Collegium Musicum, Colby's early music group, will perform a selection of music for the Advent season. The concert will be held in Lorimer Chapel on the Waterville campus. Part of the 2002-2003 Music at Colby series, the event is open to the public and free of charge.

Collegium Musicum's program will feature M. A. Charpentier's Seven O Antiphons and Johann Sebastian Bach's Cantata Nun komm der Heiden Heiland.

Directed by Steven Grives, visiting professor of music, the Collegium Musicum is a 25-member ensemble of students and community members who perform music from the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and the Baroque periods.
