Colby College Museum of Art Closed for Holidays The Colby College Museum of Art in Waterville will be closed December 24 and 25 for the Christmas holiday. The museum also will close at 2 p.m. on December 31 and remain closed on January 1. The museum will be open regular hours December 26-30 and will resume regular hours on January 2. Currently on exhibit at the museum is Afterlife: Asian Tomb and Ritual Art from the Colby Collection on view through January 5 and Whistler's Etchings and Lithotints: 1858-1896 on view indefinitely. Contemporary Prints and Photographs from the Bruce Brown Collection will open at the museum on January 19. Colby museum hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free, and the museum is accessible to persons with disabilities.
