Colby Chorale to Perform "Ancient Texts, Modern Voices" Feb. 22

On Saturday, February 22, the Colby College Chorale will perform a concert titled "Ancient Texts, Modern Voices" at 7:30 p.m. in Lorimer Chapel. Part of the 2002-03 Music at Colby concert series, the event is open to the public and free of charge.

Works of living composers from the United States and Eastern Europe will be featured within a program of sacred and secular texts.

Under the direction of Steven Grives, visiting assistant professor of music, the Colby College Chorale is the college's largest formal chorus, including more than 60 Colby students. For information about this year's schedule of Music at Colby events contact the Music Department at 207-872-3236.
