Colby Wind and Jazz Ensembles Present Spring Concerts The Colby College Wind Ensemble and the Colby Jazz Ensemble will both present spring concerts in April. The Colby Wind Ensemble will perform "The Large Form" at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 12. The Colby Jazz Ensemble will present "Strange Bedfellows and Other Eclectic Matters" at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 19. Eric Thomas will direct both concerts, which are part of the 2002-03 Music at Colby concert series. They will be held in Lorimer Chapel on the Waterville campus and are open to the public free of charge. On April 12, the Colby Wind Ensemble will perform a range of musical selections that celebrate space, both inner and outer. On April 19, the Colby Jazz Ensemble will explore unusual cultural mixtures in jazz. The Colby Jazz and Wind Ensembles include brass, wind and percussion student musicians.
