Colby Theater and Dance Season Opens with “Slices of Life” Festival of 10-Minute Plays
Slices of Life, a festival of 10-minute plays, will open the 2004-05 Theater and Dance season at Colby College in Waterville. Performances will be held Friday, October 1, and Saturday, October 2, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Strider Theater, located in the Runnals Building.
The second-annual Slices of Life Festival will include Anton Chekhov's Swan Song, directed by Nandini Naik ’05, and All Pillows Are Soft, by Colby Assistant Professor of Government Ariel Armony, directed by Katherine E. Packard '06 Also on the program are premieres of student-written shorts: Me Enough Too by Lijah Barasz ’06, directed by Patrick Harner ’05: Coloring Inside the Lines by Kathleen E. Toole ’05, directed by Meris Esterly ’06; and The Big Bang Theory by Patrick Harner, directed by Meris Esterly and Patrick Harner. The festival is free and open to the public.
