Pathways to the Invisible at Colby Museum, Feb. 25

Umbrella Pathways to the Invisible, an exhibition of paintings and monoprints by Scott Reed will open at the Colby College Museum of Art in Waterville on Sunday, February 25, and will remain on view through April 15. An opening reception is planned for 3 to 4:30 p.m. on February 25, and the public is invited.

Pathways to the Invisible features 62 monoprints and 10 acrylic paintings by Reed, associate professor of art at Colby. Reed says all of the works reflect his interest in "the spiritual, the mysterious, the subtle and the very subtle—that which is not readily visible in the world."

Colby museum hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free, and the museum is accessible to persons with disabilities. For information call 207-872-3228 or visit www.colby.edu/museum.
