"Stepping Out: Colby Dancers in Concert" is the title of this year’s annual concert of original dance pieces by students at Colby College. The performance will be presented Thursday, April 20, and Saturday, April 22, at the Waterville Opera House on Main Street. Performances each night begin at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and $2 with a Colby i.d. card. Tickets may be purchased at the Waterville Opera House (873-7000) during regular box office hours or one hour before show time. Tickets also are available in Colby’s Cotter Union lobby from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the week of the production.

"Stepping Out" is presented by the Colby Dancers, Colby’s student dance organization, as their traditional spring concert. The performance is a professional display of dance pieces created, choreographed and performed by students. The concert features a wide range of dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, modern dance and tumbling. The performance is suitable for all ages and families with children are welcome.
