New York-based artist Tobi Kahn, whose paintings and sculpture are currently on display in the Colby College Museum of Art, will give a gallery talk on Thursday, September 17, at 10 a.m. The exhibition of his work, titled "Metamorphoses," is visiting Colby as part of a national tour and continues at the museum through October 11. The lecture is free of charge and open to the public.

The museum’s hours are 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 2-4:30 p.m. Sunday. Running concurrently with the Kahn exhibition are "John Marin in Maine," an exhibit of paintings and watercolors by John Marin (through September 27), "Photographs by Berenice Abbott," a collection of 16 photographs plus a portrait of the artist by Walker Evans, and "A Walk Through the Paper Forest," works on paper exploring Latino artistic traditions.
