The second annual Colby Talent and Fashion Showcase, an evening of entertainment, fashions and snacks, is planned at Colby College beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20. Colby's Student Organization for Black & Hispanic Unity (SOBHU) is sponsoring the event, which will be held in the Page Commons Room of Cotter Union. Admission is $2, and tickets may be obtained from the SOBHU office (872-3087) in advance or at the door.

When the fashion show is over, the salsa band La Timba Loca from Boston will perform for dancing and listening into the evening.

During the fashion show, students will model styles representing various themes in apparel. The Colby Improv troupe, a cappella groups and other students will perform for the talent show. Snacks, salads and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Members of the greater Waterville community and students from college and university campuses across Maine are invited to participate. For information contact Colby's SOBHU office at 872-3087.
